Hello Everyone,
Michael and I represented ‘Chefs In Scotland’ at a formal black tie’ Burns Supper’ last Friday evening in Moffat. The speeches were long and the vino flowed for them same length of time. Michael was in full Sean Connery 007 regalia, all that was needed was Martain for the voice over. Martin Wood was sporting a dinner suite, very British 007. The ladies outfits were not as glam as the men’s. I met Jennifer for the first time (Michael’s girlfriend), she is lovely and her sister Violet was also at the dinner. It turns out that I have Violet to thank for the new job. She gave me a glowing reference which by all accounts clinched the deal, thanks Violet. On the Menu that evening was - Cock-a-leekie soup followed by Haggis warm reeking, rich wi' Champit Tatties,Bashed Neeps,Tyspy Laird, Cheese & biscuits all washed down with a little bucket of whisky.

I have some photographs of the event; however, they are currently stuck in my mobile phone. I will up load them on to ‘Out & About’ as soon as I manage to release them from the phone (I’m no techno queen).
